Since its establishment in 2011, a number of key issues salient to the effective and efficient functioning of local government have been raised and discussed at both national and provincial Municipal Managers’ Forum meetings.   The value of the Forum is not only the effective way in which it rallies municipal managers around common issues but also the opportunities provided to learn from one-another.  It is important therefore that this platform continue to provide municipal managers with enabling platforms to network and learn from best practices, as well as showcase achievements and, most importantly, address the vulnerabilities and difficulties that constantly challenge them.

The 13th National Municipal Managers Forum, to be co-hosted with the Mogale City local municipality to discuss policy agenda of Local Government and matters affecting Municipal Managers; explore innovations and good practices to improve municipal performance and most importantly  review and make improvements to the Municipal Managers Forum
