The Forum will include a Municipal Innovation Exhibition to showcase proven innovations and technologies that have potential to improve municipal performance and governance. This inaugural Municipal Innovation Exhibition will focus on the following municipal themes:

  • Water and Sanitation
  • Electricity and Energy
  • Municipal Financial Management and Sustainability
  • Municipal ICT and Innovations

To name a few, exhibitors include the Department of Science and Technology, the Council for Science and Industrial Research (CSIR), Comsol, and the South African Energy Development Institute.

Also key in the agenda of the Forum is the Municipal Financial Viability and Sustainability, and update on Local Government Legislation and Policies and update on Local Government Collective Bargaining and Related Matters.
